Happy Easter Everybody!
As March comes to a close I thought I'd share the makeup products I reached for and loved the most this month. I saved up a little and added a few more M.A.C. items to my collection (yay!) and I've been in love with them all :)
- Ikea Tindra Candle - I know it's not technically a beauty/makeup product but it sits on my vanity and it smells delish! So it counts ;)
- MAC's Mineralized SkinFinish in "Soft and Gentle" - Everyone raves about this highlighter and I completely agree, it's beautiful and lasts forever.
- Revlon Colorstay Whipped Foundation in 250 "Medium Beige" - I love the coverage of this foundation, it blends like a dream and lately I've reached for this over my other high end ones!
- MAC ProLongwear concealer in "NW20" - I use this to cover my under eye circles (which is quite a mission as mine are more like craters, ugh) but it's one of the best I've tried.
- Hard Candy Sheer Envy Face Primer - Super silky, fills in pores well, cheap!
- The Balm's "Bahama Mama" Bronzer - Perfect for contouring and I dust a light layer all over where the sun would hit my face for a cheeky tan. Check out www.hautelook.com for TheBalm deals, they've been featured on there several times.
- MAC Fix+ Setting Spray - I'm in LOVE with this spray. It's so refreshing, smells great and settles my makeup so I never leave the house with cake face, lol. I think it's definitely helped keep my makeup on longer during the day, less touch ups = happy Kristen!
- Urban Decay's "Naked Basics" eyeshadow palette - As you can see, it's been well loved! I use Naked 2 the most - for the crease, my eyebrows, as an all over lid color on days I don't feel like layering shadows. I love this simple palette for everyday, neutral looks. If you like matte colors, it's worth investing!
- L'Oreal Infallible Gel Liner in "Blackest Black" - I am in love with this, I would, and probably will, repurchase this again and again. I used to use MAC's Fluidline in Blacktrack and I actually prefer this one!
- Bath & Body Works "Vanillamint" Lipgloss - tastes so good!
- L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara - My all time favorite! Great alone or layered with others.
- Maybelline NY Define-A-Brow in "Light/Blonde" - I like this to fill in the sparse areas on the tail ends of my brows, it offers a little more control for those days where speedy application is a must.
- MAC "Soft Brown" Eyeshadow - Great warm crease color, makes blending darker shadows easier. I only own a couple of MAC eyeshadows and they're great, so I want to collect them all.
- MAC "Painterly" Paint Pot. This is an amazing lid primer - I love that it has some color to cancel out the redness/veins on the lid. I've tried a LOT of eyeshadow primers and since buying this, I've used nothing else.
- Benefit's "Coralista" Blush - I got this little mini blush boxset as a Christmas gift a while ago, and I adore it. I love Benefit products with all my heart. They were the first "high end" company I bought anything from, and to this day, I've been impressed with everything I've tried. Coralista gives a gorgeous coral/peach flush and it's pretty on everybody.
- Revlon's "Soft Nude" Lipstick. Ok, I have a confession. I am a lip product junkie. I seriously am. I can't help it! They draw me in and I just have to buy them, in every color, haha. BUT I swear I go through lipsticks, chapsticks, glosses like they're going out of style - so I need more! I blame my lips, they use up more product than other peoples, lol. I love Revlon lip products, the lip butters and lipsticks are my favorite and Soft Nude is a classic, great for a look with smokey eyes (my go to) ;)
Well phew! That was quite a list... I didn't realize I was in love with so many products this month!
I hope you've all had a great March and here's to an even better April :)
